benefits of a larger school

The department of education seems to have developed a solution to its ills in forming small schools. However it may be cheating students of some of the benefits of a larger school. Larger schools can provide students with many more activities, clubs and teams that appeal to the varieties of interest and talent that students have to offer. Larger schools also tend to provide students with the choices they need to develop a program that appeals to their dreams and future plans. Classes like outdoor education, computer networking, self defense, web design, accounting, fashion, microsoft certification, mask making, virtual enterprise, programming, piano, chorus, automotive, electronics, meteorology, forensics and many others are available at Lehman High Schools. How does Lehman manage to offer so much. It is a large school of 4300 students and a staff to match. Every year a different teacher steps up and develops a new and interesting class. A large staff enriches a school with a variety of talent and skills that small schools cannot match. The benefit is reaped by students that come to a school that seems to offer everything.
